Cimmaron Romaine is a stiff ribbed, upright, 10 inch tall lettuce surrounding a tender heart of foliage. Cimmaron can produce lettuce spring through fall with successive plantings. During excessive heat, plant in a cool shady location. Plant in the early spring, 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost. Cimmaron prefers light, fertile, moist, well drained soil.
