Seeds Echinacea - Purple Coneflower
Echinacea Purple Coneflower The flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage. The Purple Coneflower has 2 to 3 inch long drooping petals that are surrounded with a purple/maroon/brown conical center, 3 inches in diameter. In very hot summer climates, provide some afternoon shade. This easy to care for North America Native Wildflower is an excellent addition to any garden. Purple Coneflower Echinacea will perform in full sun or light shade. Plant in early spring, 3 to 4 weeks before the last frost or as late as 2 months before the first fall frost. They make excellent cut flowers and borders>/p>. Well drained soil is a must for Echinacea Coneflowers as they cannot withstand standing water.
