Shrubs Lilac - Miss Kim
Lilac Miss Kim The Miss Kim Lilac is compact and upright-rounded in form. It is thought by many to be the number one Lilac in the Midwestern United States. It has an abundance of fragrant blossoms in spring that are dark lavender-pink in bud and fade to a very soft lavender-pink when fully opened. Compact and upright-rounded in form, it slowly grows to five feet tall and wide. The Lilac' Miss Kim', Syringa patula 'Miss Kim', is a very popular shrub. The Miss Kim Lilac makes a wonderful shrub for foundation plantings. The blossoms are even more plentiful when it is planted in full sun. Miss Kim has the best fall color of any Lilac, a reddish purple.

Juniper Arcadia Junipers are important evergreens for landscape use due to their tolerance of unfavorable soil conditions, their hardiness and great variation in size, habit, color and growth rate. Prefers a well-drained soil and a sunny location. It displays a spreading habit with a dense, dwarf, somewhat layered effect. Arcadia Juniper, Juniperus sabina 'Arcadia', is a popular evergreen that exhibits rich green, lacy-textured foliage and a semi-spreading growth habit. It is a grass-green selection with a mature height of one to one and a half feet, and it has good resistance to juniper blight.
Juniper Blue Forest Looks great when planted above a boulder retaining wall. Blue Forest Juniper, Juniperus sabina 'Blue Forest', is a distinctive groundcover-type evergreen that has very attractive silvery-blue foliage. These plants may also be utilized for background plantings in shrub beds or flower gardens, as specimen plants, in rock gardens or for topiary or espalier purposes. This evergreen shrub has a wide-spreading habit with a somewhat vase shape that grows 4' to 6' tall with a greater spread. Junipers are used as ground covers, in foundation plantings, or as hedges, screens or windbreaks.
Juniper Buffalo Junipers are important evergreens for landscape use due to their tolerance of unfavorable soil conditions, their hardiness and great variation in size, habit, color and growth rate. Buffalo Juniper, Juniperus sabina 'Buffalo', has soft, feathery, bright green foliage on low spreading branches that produces an interesting form, and it is an excellent groundcover plant for borders or mass plantings. This Juniper prefers sun and a well-drained soil, but tolerates a range of soil types; drought and heat tolerant. Junipers are used as ground covers, in foundation plantings, or as hedges, screens or windbreaks. Buffalo Juniper's feathery branches are of bright green foliage; retains color in winter.
Juniper Maney This is one of the hardiest medium-sized evergreens and makes an excellent choice for any landscape planting. Maney Juniper has a handsome appearance and is medium sized for any planting. It is a fast grower and has excellent cold tolerance. Requires a well drained soil in a sunny location, adaptable to different soil pH; tolerates fairly alkaline soils and prefers full sun to part shade. Junipers are used as ground covers, in foundation plantings, or as hedges, screens or windbreaks. These plants may also be utilized for background plantings in shrub beds or flower gardens, as specimen plants, in rock gardens or for topiary or espalier purposes.
Yew Dark Green Dark Green Yew, taxus x media 'Dark Green', is an excellent evergreen with beautiful dark green foliage for the shade garden or shady side of the home. It exhibits a small wide spreading form, with soft textures, and rich green short needles that are easily pruned into various shapes. This yew can be used as a low hedge or specimen plant and requires good drainage and prefers a shady location with loamy soil. It grows 3-5 feet tall and 6-8 feet wide. Yews are widely used landscape plants because of their rich, dark green evergreen foliage and versatility. Remove 1/2 to 3/4 of the new growth each year with hand pruners; you can control the size and maintain a healthier shrub with a more natural form.
Yew Taunton Spreading It grows well in both sun or shade and is very popular as an accent, specimen, or foundation plant. Yews are widely used landscape plants because of their rich, dark green evergreen foliage and versatility. They are maintainable at various heights and spreads.

Buttonbush It is very open, almost gangly in habit. Flowers are creamy-white, on spherical heads, 1 to 1 1/4 inches long, blooming in late summer.
