AnnualsWinter annuals are plants that have an annual life span but tend to germanate in the fall or winter and bloom in late autumn/fall, winter or early spring. Annuals are flowers that complete their life cycle in one season, during which they grow, flower, and produce seed. Athough alot of annuals self-seed, certain characteristics may be lost, since the parents of each seed are unknown.
