The Begonia Spectrum Mandela, 'Begonia x hybrida', are wonderfully floriferous plants that are at home in the garden, or in patio containers. This begonia is a cross between the winter flowering Begonia socotrana, and the summer flowering tuberous types of begonias. They should not be subjected to more than ½ day of sun as they will not tolerate a full sun location. The Spectrum Mandela begonias are distinguished by their large, double flowers that are yellow in color. In cool or wet climates, consider growing your Spectrum begonias on a patio or in porch boxes.
