Bishops Flower - White Lace

The Bishops Flower White Lace, 'Ammi majus L. ', has delicate white flowers that will lend a lacy, airy look to your garden. This is your flower if you want the wonderful look of Queen Anne's Lace that is not the noxious weed Dacus carota. The White Lace plant is attractive to butterflies. The very small, pure white flowers appear in loose airy clusters called umbels and are up to 6 inches across. Their bloom period is in the summer. Bishops Flowers prefer full sun but will tolerate some light shade. Ordinary garden soil that is kept evenly moist will do just fine. Deadhead or remove spent flowers to prolong blooming period. The Sugar Sweetie has large numbers of 3/4 to 1 inch cherry tomatoes that are produced in grape-like clusters on 2 foot tall plants. They are an excellent container variety. Tomatoes are generally started inside. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day.
