Bleeding Heart - Aurora
The blooms look wonderful against its grayish foliage. The Bleeding Heart Aurora, 'Dicentra ‘Aurora’, is a fast-growing perennial with creamy white, heart-shaped flowers. Dicentra should be planted in full sun but will tolerate morning shade. Being an old fashioned plant, it is a must in any landscape. ‘Aurora’ makes excellent cut flowers, in mass with groundcovers, or in potted containers. Do not let it dry out. Dicentra will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies. Dicentra ‘Aurora’ has a plant height of 14” and a width of 20”. Diascia - Little Charmer Diascia 'Little Charmer', has exceptionally large strawberry-pink flowers They'll produce showers of flowers in spring to early summer until the daytime temperatures get really hot. This Twinspur is very compact and a garden star. Keep the soil moist, but not soggy. Diascia is probably best suited to be grown in mixed containers or window boxes. Space plants 8" - 10" apart. |
