Boltonia - Snowbank
The Boltonia ‘Snowbank’, Boltonia asteroids, is a beautiful perennial with clouds of small white daisies (yellow centers) and blue green foliage. Blooming from July through September, its eye-catching beauty works great with Sedum, Russian Sage and Ornamental Grasses, not to mention being a fast grower. Boltonia ‘Snowbank’ can get as high as 5’ and as wide as 28-36”. It is best to cut this plant half back in June to promote a bushier growth. Boltonia ‘Snowbank’ needs to be in a full sun area in moist, well-drained soil but can tolerate poor soil conditions. Boltonia is great for fresh cut flowers, a great butterfly nectar source and hummingbird attractor. Boltonia is the most widely planted perennial. Evening Primrose - Glowing Magenta The Evening Primrose, Glowing Magenta, 'Oenothera kunthiana', is a new Oenothera unlike any other. The deep pink flowers stand out against its deep green foliage.
