Celosia - Pampas Plume

The soil needs to be kept evenly moist. The Celosia Pampas Plume, 'Celosia argentea plumosa', has dramatic masses of soft, feathery plumes that are stunning in fresh and dried flower arrangements. Plant in the spring, after the last average frost date. The upright plumes are 6 to 12 inches tall with flowers the colors of scarlet, rose, carmine, gold, cream and bronze. The Celosia argentea are widely cultivated as a bedding annual. The Celosia Pampas Plume provide a dramatic garden backdrop or focal point in beds, borders or containers.
