Clematis - Carnaby
The dark green foliage makes a great contrast with the flower color. 'Carnaby' blooms from June and September with flowers that should not be missed. The Clematis 'Carnaby', Hybrid, has pink flowers with rich red bar down the middle of each petal. Clematis ‘Carnaby’ needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs. Strikingly colorful. 'Carnaby' also has dark red anthers that make it very showy. Obedient Plant - Variegata ‘Variegata’ is not as aggressive as most other Physostegia. Use ‘Variegata’ in borders, mixed plantings, massed plantings (especially to separate other colors), in large containers or as cut flowers. ‘Variegata’ needs a full sun area but will tolerate some afternoon shade, in well-drained soil. Try darker colors such Hemerocallis ‘Little Business’, Platycodon ‘Balloon Flower’ or Veronica ‘Royal Candles’ as a contrast.
