Coreopsis - Tequilla Sunrise
The Coreopsis ‘Tequilla Sunrise’ is a very exciting new variety. In the Tickseed family, the gorgeous variegated olive-green foliage, turning to mahogany in the fall, and cream to yellow flowers with a red eye, is a great addition to any garden. Blooming from June to October, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 10-12”. ‘Tequilla Sunrise’ should be planted in full sun. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis ‘Tequilla Sunrise’ looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens. No garden should be without it. ... additional info
