Daisy - Soprano Light Purple

They’re heat-tolerant, so they won’t shy away from hot summer conditions and full sun. The Daisy Soprano Light Purple 'Osteospermum hybrid', exhibits slightly cupped Daisies that have terrific heat tolerance and an extra-compact habit. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. They have large light purple flowers with a compact growth habit. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. Tomato - Heartland Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. Heartland tomatoes can be grown in a large pot such as a 1/2 whiskey barrel size pot. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. The Tomato Heartland, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', is an excellent performer and is ideal for small space gardening. It is an excellent variety for small areas and compact spaces. The tomatoes are very tasty and weigh a nice 6 to 8 ounces. The vines grow to about 3 feet and have lovely big leaves.
