Daisy - Springstar Sirius

The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom. The Daisy Springstar Sirius, 'Osteospermum ecklonis', was bred by Kientzler of Germany. The deeply cut, dark green leaves are aromatic when bruised. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. The Springstar Sirius, a Proven Selections plant, produces beautiful magenta flowers. The Springstar varieties are great for early cropping and all have a compact habit and are early flowering. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. ... additional info

 

Herb - Lady Lavender Lady Lavender is a dwarf cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia. Lady Lavender is a 12" plant with compact violet blooms on 4-6" stems. Shear following bloom for shape and to prompte rebloom. The Lady Lavender blooms first year from seed, and will set viable seed. Remove spent blooms to extend bloom season. The Lady Lavender prefers full sun and loose. light, well drained soil.
