Daisy - Trade Winds™ Deep Purple

Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional blooming. In warmer zones this plant can also be a perennial. Daisy's require a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil and should be kept well watered in the summer. They’ll produce prolific flowers from spring right through fall. The Daisy Trade Winds™ Deep Purple (PP16,511), 'Osteospermum hybrid', has beautiful deep purple flowers. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. As a matter of fact, the Tradewinds™ series was bred for heat resistance and good growth habit. Coleus - Old Lace The brilliant colors explode in sunny locations. Coleus plants are so colorful that many people keep them and use them as a house plant. These plants will do best in temperatures above 55 degrees. Flower buds should be pinched off as soon as they develop. Poorly drained soils and excessive watering will damage coleus.
