The Hemerocallis ‘Mary Todd’, also known as a Daylilly, has a wonderful bright yellow flower with a green throat. Lightly ruffled and crimped, it has a flower size of 4. 5”. With dark green foliage, this Daylily will reach a height of 26” and a plant spread of 23-29”. It's award include the Award of Merit and Stout Silver Medal, and one can see why. ‘Mary Todd’ will bloom from May through July, with outstanding color and is a definite rebloomer. ‘Mary Todd’ prefers a full sun area that is well-drained. Although the blooms will last only for one day, there are many blooms on strong stems that rise above tall grassy foliage, (remove in late fall). ‘Mary Todd’ is considered to be pest and deer resistant. Sedum - Emperor's Wave The Sedum Emperor's Wave, Sedum telephium 'Emperor's Wave' is a new variety of sedum to the marketplace. The blue-green foliage is accented by it's pointed leaves. Its sturdy, dark stems look wonderful with the reddish-purple flowers. The umbrella-like flower heads bloom from August to September and it has a plant height of 16”. Emperor's Wave needs to be planted in full sun in well-drained soil. It will tolerate most soil types and is drought resistant. Emperor's Wave is a great choice for beds and borders and excellent as cut flowers. It is also a great butterfly and bee attractor and is disease resistant.
