Evening Primrose - Lemon Sunset
The Evening Primrose Lemon Sunset, Oenothera longifolia, is a new Oenothera unlike any other. For a wonderful sun perennial, one will not want to leave ‘Lemon Sunset’ out of their garden. It has a plant height of 3’ and a spread of 36-48”. Try planting ‘Lemon Sunset’ with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. ‘Lemon Sunset’ will flower its first year, June to August. Diascia - Hannah Rose It is an excellent selection with pinkish red flowers similar to 'Red Ace', but a much more behaved, less aggressive growth habit. The Diascia 'Hannah Rose', is one of the stars of the new series of Diascia. Today's generation of Diascias have been noted for their resistance to heat and humidity and selected for long-blooming abilities. The new varieties flower well into the summer even in the deep South, and throughout the entire summer in most parts of the country. It fills smaller pots to perfection.
