Evening Primrose - Sunset Boulevard

The Evening Primrose Sunset Boulevard, 'Oenothera versicolour', ia a new Oenothera unlike any other. The large, 4” orange and red blooms turn apricot and red and are complimented by its rich green foliage. It has a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36-48”. ‘Sunset Boulevard’ will flower its first year, June to August and is best grown as an annual. Oenothera requires full sun and needs a good drainage site. Try planting ‘Sunset Boulevard’ with Salvia, Achillea or Columbine. For a wonderful sun perennial, one will not want to leave ‘Lemon Sunset’ out of their garden. ... more information

 

Golden Marguerite - Susan Mitchell The Marguerite Daisy, 'Anthemis ‘Susan Mitchell’, a Blooms of Bressingham plant, has daisy-like, 1-2” creamy white flowers with primrose-yellow centers. The feathery, fragrant, silvery foliage forms a tight, symmetrical mound that will add to any landscape. Anthemis ‘Susan Mitchell’ has a plant height of 20-24” and should be planted in full sun. It will bloom from May to October and will accept poor soil conditions, being drought tolerant. If deadheaded, it will bloom all summer long. Try Anthemis ‘Susan Mitchell’ with Calamagrostis ‘Overdam’, Stachy’s ‘Lamb’s Ear’ or Ajuga ‘Chocolate Chip’. It is a sure garden pleaser.
