Geranium - Carol
The Geranium Carol, Geranium cinereum 'Carol' (PP14,002), has rich, magenta colored flowers with darker veins and darker colored eyes that bloom from June until August. Carol can be planted in full sun to partial shade. For best results, plant in a dry to average moisture area and make sure the site is well-drained. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. Grass - Northern Pampas The Grass 'Northern Pampas Grass', Erianthus ravennae, grass is an outstanding plant. The tall flower stalks of this grass stand well above the foliage. The foliage grows in an arching, fountain-like way. The silvery white flower stalks are good for drying. Pampas Grass grows the best in sun filled places with somewhat damp ground. This amazing grass can grow in hard, rocky areas, flooded areas, dry and damp ground plus its normal habitat. The leaves die during frosts in northern climates, but grow back in the spring. |
