Herb - Sweet Majoram

The Marjoram Sweet, 'Origanum majorana', has a sweeter, milder flavor than Oregano. Legend has it that if you touch Sweet Marjoram before bedtime, you will dream of your future spouse. The plants are bushy, 1 to 2 foot tall and 2 foot wide. Try substituting Sweet Marjoram for Oregano in many popular dishes such as eggplant Parmesan or pizza. It is wonderful when used fresh in many dishes. Sweet Marjoram is primarily used for culinary purposes. Tiny white or pink flowers occur in the summer. Plant in the spring in well drained soil. Marjoram is used with sausage, egg dishes, cheese dishes, lamb, veal, fish, green vegetables, darrots, beef, eggplant, cauliflower, dressings, squash, and tomatoes. Some describe the flavor as having a hint of balsam. They produce small round, pale, grey-green, velvety, aromatic leaves. ... additional info

Petunia - Supertunia ® Priscilla They are ideal for baskets, beds, balconies and combination plantings. Supertunias are very heat and drought tolerant once established in the ground or pot. They do not need to have their dead flower heads removed to continue flowering and they are not leggy. For zones 9-11, this plant can also be a perennial. Supertunias are a vigorously trailing species of an everblooming, long-living petunia from Australia. They will provide long-term color in full sun areas throughout the season, and can grow nearly an inch a day. Supertunias grow fast and therefore need ample moisture and fertilzer. The Priscilla has beautiful deeply veined lavender flowers. The Petunia Supertunia ® Priscilla, 'Petunia hybrids', are wonderfully fragrant and their huge flowers and a vigorous trailing habit that turn hanging baskets and decorative urns into garden masterpieces.
