The Hosta 'June', Sport of H. Hacyon, displays leaves with a green edge and are have gold colored centers. The fragrant violet flowers flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 16” and a spread of 32-36”, this Hosta provides bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘June’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. It was the 2001 Hosta of the Year. Salvia - Sensation Rose The Salvia Sensation Rose, Salvia nemorosa 'Sensation Rose' (PPAF), is loaded with pink flowers that bloom from May to August. It is a sister plant to the great salvia Marcus®. It should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. Sensation Rose is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers.
