Hosta - Miniature - Hydon Sunset

The miniature hosta is also an excellent container plant. They are easy to grow, shade-tolerant and low maintenance. The Miniature Hosta Hydon Sunset, 'Hosta", has bright chartreuse foliage with purple flowers blooming in June and July. These wonderful dwarf hostas are ideal for the garden edge, as ground covers or as small accents among larger plants. They have the great qualities that hostas are famous for, but in a unique "miniature" form. Nice for the small garden since its height is only 12". ... additional information

 

Geranium - Southcombe Double They do best in sun, but will tolerate some degree of shade. There are only a few double-geraniums in cultivation and don't look like a Geranium at first glance. For the most part, cranesbill are long-lived and do not require a lot of care. This plant would look wonderful in a pot on a sun-drenched porch and is also deer resistant. The Geranium Southcombe Double, 'Geranium oxonianum', displays fully double, pure pink blooms that sit atop bright green stems. They are perfect in the perennial border and work well as a ground cover too. Geraniums are grown in almost any soil as long as it is not wet. Southcombe Double blooms almost non-stop throughout the summer, into fall.
