Hosta - Revolution
The Hosta Revolution, Hosta 'Revolution', is a sport of the popular hosta Loyalist which in turn is a sport of the hosta Patriot. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. The lavender flowers of this hosta appear on 20 inch stems, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. It has cream colored leaves that are speckled with green and a irregular dark green margin around the leaves. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Revolution is no exception. A great choice for any beginner gardener. Revolution will tolerate shade to partial sun and should be planted in any moist, well-drained spot. Iris - Immortality It can also be used in difficult banks and preventing erosion. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 35”. It will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It prefers average, well-drained soil but has excellent drought tolerance. |
