Hosta - Stained Glass

Stained Glass is a sun tolerant hosta and should be planted in any moist, well-drained spot. The fragrant lavender flowers of this hosta appear in late summer, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. The Hosta Stained Glass, Hosta 'Stained Glass', is a sport of the hosta Guacamole and was Hosta of the year in 2006. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. It is considered one of the best hosta's to be released in years. Coreopsis - Zagreb The Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’, Coreopsis verticillata, is a prolific bloomer of bright yellow flowers that bloom from June through October. ‘Zagreb’ should be planted in full sun. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. No garden should be without it.
