Hosta - Sun Power
The Hosta Sun Power, Hosta 'Sun Power', is one of the best gold hosta's there is. The large leaves are about 12 inches long by 7 inches wide and are vase shaped. Sun Power requires about 3/4 sun which causes the leaves to explode in true gold color. . . . hence the name Sun Power. The lavender flowers of this hosta appear in early summer on 3 foot stems, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Sun Power requires sun 3/4 of the day to bring out the best color and should be planted in any moist, well-drained spot. Iris - Champagne Elegance The Iris Champagne Elegance, 'Iris', is part of the reblooming Bearded Iris family and has delicate shaded apricot flowers with 8-10 blooms per stem. With a velvety texture and beautiful evergreen foliage, it has a plant height of 34’ and a width of 18-24”. This Iris blooms heavily in early summer and then reblooms in late summer, ‘Champagne Elegance’ is an attractive backdrop for your garden. It is an easily grown Iris. Iris ‘Champagne Elegance’ prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best.
