Hosta - Whirlwind

The Hosta Whirlwind, 'Hosta', has upright pointed leaves that are twisted and folded. The creamy yellow to white centers and dark green margins give ‘Whirlwind’ its name. The lavender flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known for their flowers. With a plant height of 24” and a spread of 36”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Whirlwind’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area.
