Iris - Batik

The Iris Batik, Iris x germanica 'Batik' has stripes and splashes of white on dark purple flowers. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 24”. Batik blooms in spring and is an easily grown Iris. It prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun, but will tolerate some afternoon shade. This Iris needs plenty of water throughout the season to continue to looks its best. Batik will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. Calla Lily - Crystal Blush The Calla Crystal Blush, 'Zantedeschia', has green broadly shaped foliage with white flowers that attain a slight pink blush color. ‘Crystal Blush’ was voted the best Calla in 2004. It will bloom for 10-11 weeks and should be planted in full sun in a well-drained area. It has a plant height of 14-22” and a plant spread of 12-16”. Being somewhat deer resistant, it is suitable for container growing, as cut flowers and in perennial gardens. ‘Crystal Blush’ is perfect for one who is looking for a bright splash of color in any shady spot.
