Iris - Siberian Collection

Siberian Iris are elegant, easy to grow, and make stunning cut flowers. Mix these pale purple, white, yellow, and blue flowers into sunny wet gardens for outstanding flowers in spring. They are graceful when established in broad drifts in an open area. They prefer wet soils at the margins of ponds, and are hardy even in the coldest areas. Strong upright dagger-like foliage punctuates the mixed border throughout the summer and often develops lovely fall color. The Siberian Iris Collection, 'Iris', is a collection of irises that look delicate and exotic in the landscape, but are truly hardy and tough plants. They thrive in almost every garden environment. Very cold tolerant, after all they are native to Siberia, they need no extra help to survive American winters. Planted in groups of 3 or more, they will eventually form large clumps.
