The Larkspur Giant Imperial Blend, 'Consolida ambigua', has tall spires of elegant, tightly packed flowers. Shades of blue, pink, and white flowers are set atop of long stems. The Giant Imperial Larkspur blooms in mid spring to early summer. The Larkspur prefer a cool location in full sun. They like moist, rich, well drained soil that is slightly alkaline. The Husky Gold is a great container plant with juicy, sweet, mild flavored tomatoes. Husky Gold is rare. It is a dwarf intermediate which means it will continue to produce right up to frost. Tomatoes are generally started inside. They may also be seeded outside after the last average frost date. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter.
