Leopard Plant - Othello
The Ligularia ‘Othello Leopard Plant’, Ligularia dentata, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves. New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green. Blooming from July to August, ‘Ligularia Othello’ has a plant height of 2’ and a spread of 24-36”. Ligularia ‘Othello’ should be planted in full shade in a well-drained area. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. Veronica - Blue Streak The Veronica Blue Streak, 'Veronica spicata', is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. With its brilliant green foliage, it has a plant height of 18” and a spread of 18-24”. ‘Blue Streak’ needs a full sun area with well-drained soil. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders.
