Leopard Plant - Othello

Blooming from July to August, ‘Ligularia Othello’ has a plant height of 2’ and a spread of 24-36”. New leaves emerge purplish-red but turn to brownish-green. The Ligularia ‘Othello Leopard Plant’, Ligularia dentata, is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge leathery, toothed, heart-shaped, basal leaves. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. Ligularia ‘Othello’ should be planted in full shade in a well-drained area. Clematis - Niobe (Restricted States: AK, AZ, CA, FL, HI, OR, OT, WA). The foliage is dark green and makes a great contrast with the flower color. Clematis prefers full sun but will tolerate shade in the morning in a well-drained area. It is best to heavily mulch the root zone to provide this cool, shady area. Clematis ‘Niobe’ needs a supporting structure to grow properly but will also grow over large shrubs.
