Ligularia - Brit Marie

Blooming from July to August, ‘Brit Marie Crawford’ has a plant height of 3-4’ and a spread of 36-48”. The foliage can be kidney or round shaped to triangular with a wavy margin. The Ligularia Brit Marie Crawford, 'Ligularia dentata', is a wonderful yellow-orange, daisy-like flower with huge glossy maroon foliage that remains dark for most of the season. The flowers appear on tall spikes. Ligularia should be planted in full shade in a well-drained area. Use Ligularia in group or mass plantings, woodland gardens, or along streams, ponds, pools or bog gardens. It must have moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out. ... get more information
