Lupine - Russell Mix

The scents of the blossoms is like honey and it is a North America native flower. The Russell Blend is used for cut flowers, planted in mass, or backyard plants. It is grown as an annual in southern states. They come in colors of white, yellow, pink, orange, red, salmon, lavender, blue, purple, and bicolors. The flowers are multiple 1/2 inch wide blossoms on spikes. Lupines bloom for 2 to 4 weeks in late spring. They prefer well drained and slightly acidic soil. The Russel Blend prefers full sun and relatively cool conditions so do not plant in a hot spot. The Lupine Russell Blend, 'Lupinus 'Russell Hybrids', has tall flower spikes with a large range of colors that makes Lupine when planted in groups a dramatic sight. Corn - Argent - white In the deep south, this can be as early as February. Argent sweet corn adapts well to cool soils and has a high tolerance ot Stewart's Wilt and Northern Corn Leaf Blight. It is unsurpassed in eating quality. Harvest the ears when the husks are dark green and the silks are brown but not brittle. Plant in the spring, a week or two after the last spring frost or when the soil is warm. Argent is a white sweet corn with superb sweet, creamy flavor and excellent cultivation traits.
