Ninebark - Diabolo
The flowers and foliage are great for cutting. It is drought-tolerant and is suitable for xeriscaping. It has deep burgundy leaves, and attractive white button-like blooms in summer. "Diabolo" is easy to grow and is very hardy and can tolerate a wide range of conditions. The Ninebark 'Diablo', Physocarpus opulifolius 'Diabolo', is a fast growing plant. It will take some shade but will exhibit the best color in full sun. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds. It is tolerant of many soils, preferring a well drained site.
