Oregano - Rosenkuppel
The Rosenkuppel Oregano, Origanum laevigatum, is a great ground cover used in mass or alone. It forms attractive mats of round dark green leaves that are the perfect backdrop for its beautiful, ornamental dark pink flowers. Its contrasting purple calyces really make this plant stand out amongst the rest. Blooming from August to October, it has a plant height of 15" and a width of 24". Astilbe - Lollypop The Astilbe ‘Lollypop’, Astilbe japonica 'Lollypop' (PP11,966), is a colorful feathery flower with hot pink blooms, dark purple stems and dark green shiny foliage. Lollypop's beautiful flowers contrast wonderfully with the dark green foliage. Astilbe ‘Lollypop’ blooms in early summer. The biggest key to successful growth of your Astilbes is water. . . they require a lot of water. The soil must remain moist. If the soil drys out the plant will falter quickly, especially in the sun.
