Perennials Geranium - Jolly Bee
Geranium Jolly Bee The Geranium Jolly Bee, 'Pelargonium', a Proven Winners selection, has rich, deep-blue flowers with white eyes that bloom from June till August. With its beautiful dark green foliage, it has a plant width of 12” and a height of 8-12”. ‘Jolly Bee’ Geranium, being drought tolerant, needs a full sun area with some shade in the afternoon. For best results, plant in a dry to moist area in a well-drained site. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. A great plant for a beginner gardener.

Coral Bells Obsidian The Coral Bells Obsidian, Heuchera 'Obsidian' (PP14,836), with it's Jet Black leaves, has the darkest foilage to date of the Coral Bells. Taller shoots of cream colored flowers appear on this evergreen variety in June. Plant the Obsidian with Coral Bells Lime Ricky, Marmalade or Peach Flambe for a fantastic color contrast. Coral Bells are grown more for their foliage color but the small blooms that they contain will attract hummingbirds. Like most Coral Bells, it thrives in partial sunlight but once established it will also grow in shade. Use this coral bell as a ground cover, in rock gardens, as a border plant or as an edger along paths and walkways.
Coreopsis Autumn Blush The Coreopsis Autumn Blush, Coreopsis 'Autumn Blush' (PPAF) is a wonderful new variety to the Coreopsis family. The fern like leaves make a great contrast with the daisy shaped flowers. Autumn Blush is a long blooming plant that has beautiful yellow flowers with a burgundy colored eye turning to all burgundy in the fall. It tolerates the heat and humidity extremely well and flowers best in a sunny location. It should be cut back in late summer to extend the bloom period.
Daylily Rosy Returns The Daylily Rosy Returns, Hemerocallis 'Rosy Returns' (Apps, '99,PP9779), is a dwarf variety that has large 4 inch bright rose flowers with a dark pink eye and yellow throat on green foliage. Rosy Returns will bloom from June until frost and may be hardy all the way to zone 2. It can survive harsh conditions that many other plants can not and prefers full sun for the best performance. Daylilies are some of the easiest plants to grow and are a good choice for any gardener. They will grow in almost any soil and handle drought to wet soil conditions.
Hosta Revolution The Hosta Revolution, Hosta 'Revolution', is a sport of the popular hosta Loyalist which in turn is a sport of the hosta Patriot. It has cream colored leaves that are speckled with green and a irregular dark green margin around the leaves. The lavender flowers of this hosta appear on 20 inch stems, however hosta’s are not known for their flowers. Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage and Revolution is no exception. A great choice for any beginner gardener.

This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and is one of the most popular landscape plants. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
Geranium Hocus Pocus The Geranium Hocus Pocus, Geranium pratense 'Hocus Pocus', has rich, sky blue colored flowers with darker veins and a lighter colored eye that begins blooming in early summer. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. A great plant for a beginner gardener.
Salvia Plumosa The Salvia ‘Plumosa’, Salvia nemorosa, has glowing purple stems loaded with deep, double purple flowers that bloom from June to October. With its gray-green basal leaves and aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long.
Salvia Purple Rain The Salvia ‘Purple Rain’, Salvia verticillata, has glowing purple stems loaded with masses of deep purple flowers that bloom from June to October. It has a plant height of 18” and a spread of 12-18” and stays in excellent compact form. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers.
Iris Butter And Sugar Blooming from late spring into summer, it has a plant height of 28” and a spread of 18-24”. The Iris ‘Butter and Sugar’ has many uses.
Leopard Plant Othello Blooming from July to August, ‘Ligularia Othello’ has a plant height of 2’ and a spread of 24-36”.
Sea Thrift Splendins The Splendins 'Sea Thrift', Armeria maritima, has wonderful pink flowers that contrast well with its dark evergreen, tufted foliage.
Veronica Goodness Grows Speedwell Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders.
Hosta Sum And Substance Hosta ‘Sum and Substance’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained location.
