Phlox - Flower Power

It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. ‘Flower Power’ needs to be planted in a full sun area in well-drained soil. ‘Flower Power’ is shorter, sturdier and more mildew-resistant than most in its family. Use ‘Flower Power’ in rock gardens, as a background plant or with Ornamental Grasses and Hibiscus. The Phlox Flower Power, 'Phlox maculata', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is a new and exciting addition to the “tall Phlox” varieties. Salvia - Blue Hills ‘Blue Hills’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. Salvia ‘Blue Hills’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. The Salvia ‘Blue Hills’, Salvia nemorosa ‘Blauhugel’, has glowing purple stems loaded with true blue flowers that bloom from June to October. To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. It is hardy for container gardening and provides excellent cut flowers. Blooms look wonderful next to Sedum ‘Matrona’, Achillea 'Coronation Gold' and Saliva ‘Snow Hill’. ‘Blue Hills’ has a plant height of 15” and a spread of 18-24” and stays in excellent compact form. With its gray-green aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long.
