The Phlox Red Riding Hood, Phlox paniculata 'Red Riding Hood', has beautiful red blossoms on compact dark green stems and is a major attractant of butterflies and hummingbirds. Blooming from mid to late summer, it has a plant height of 18-22” and is extremely mildew resistant. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden. Lungwort - Raspberry Splash The Pulmonaria 'Raspberry Splash', also known as Lungwort or Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The foliage is fuzzy and dark green, speckled with silver with raspberry blooms in May. ‘Raspberry Splash’ has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 18-23”. ‘Raspberry Splash’ needs to be planted in a full shaded area with well-drained soil. It is a wonderful contrast with hostas, under shrubs and along paths. ‘Raspberry Splash’ is a vigorous grower and resistant to slugs and great for a first time gardener.
