Privet - Londense
This privet is grown as a hedge plant because it tolerates shearing and is quite dense. It is easily transplanted and grows rapidly, and it retains its leaves into late fall. It is very dense and compact. Dark green foliage with white flowers. The plant is densely branched but quite irregular in shape if not sheared. The Londense Privet, Ligustrum vulgare lodense, is a dwarf privet hedge plant. Ideal for a low hedge. If left untrimmed it will reach a height of 4 feet.
