Rose Campion - Gardener's World

The Lychnis Gardener's World, 'Lychniscoronaria', a Blooms of Bressingham plant, is an upright perennial with woolly silver foliage. The flower is larger, sterile and more refined. ‘Gardener’s World’ should be planted in full sun to light shade, but does require moisture and free-draining soil. The beautiful blooms last from from June to August. Lychnis is deer resistant and a great perennial for mass plantings or at the back of a border. ‘Gardener’s World’ is a definite improvement from other Lychnis. ‘Gardner’s World’ has a plant height of 24-36” and 10” spread. Bee Balm - Gardenview Scarlet The leaves of Monarda can be used for teas and in salads. Monarda needs to be planted in full sun, but will tolerate afternoon shade. Grandview Scarlets are best grown in rich soil in a well-drained area, not being allowed to dry out. Attracting hummingbirds, butterflies and bees, particularly when massed, Monarda provides color and contrast for the perennial border, wild garden, meadow, and herb garden or along ponds or streams. If deadheaded, (remove old flowers from plant) longer bloom times will be encouraged. The Monarda 'Gardenview Scarlet', Monarda didyma, also known as Bee Balm, Bergamont, Horsemint, Oswego Tea, is a clump-forming perennial that has tubular, two-lipped, red rose flowers with dark green aromatic foliage.
