Salvia - Snow Hill

Salvia ‘Snow Hill’ should be planted in full sun in a moist well-drained area. To increase bloom time, it should be cut back after the first bloom. Blooms look wonderful next to Sedum ‘Matrona’, Veronica ‘Royal Candles’ and Saliva ‘May Night’. ‘Snow Hill’ is a magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds and is deer-resistant. The Salvia ‘Snow Hill’, Salvia nemorosa ‘Schneehugel’, has glowing purple stems loaded with masses of clear white flowers that bloom from June to October. It has a plant height of 15” and a spread of 18-24” and stays in excellent compact form. With its dark green basal leaves and aromatic foliage, it makes an attractive accent all summer long. Geranium - Carol The Geranium Carol, Geranium cinereum 'Carol' (PP14,002), has rich, magenta colored flowers with darker veins and darker colored eyes that bloom from June until August. For best results, plant in a dry to average moisture area and make sure the site is well-drained. A great plant for a beginner gardener. It is a superb plant for cottage gardens, container growing, borders or informal borders in mass plantings. There is an attaction to bees and butterflies and it is very disease and deer resistant. The Geranium family is well known for its stunning fall colors that include reds, oranges, and yellows.
