This plant is actually a cross between Lychnis and Silene. Rollies Favourite starts blooming in May and continues throughout the summer into July. It requires full sun to partial sun and average well-drained soil. It has beautiful, rich pink flowers the bloom on top of low-growing mounds of dark green foliage. Tiarella - Sea Foam Foam Flower Try planting this popular perennial with Lamium ‘White Nancy’, Hosta ‘Patriot’ or ‘Japanese Painted Fern’. No other Tiarella has a better contrast in the leaf color. Best of all, the coloration is more intense during the winter months, not to mention being lightly fragrant. Cream flowers appear in the summer; however, Tiarella’s are not noted for their flowers. The Tiarella Sea Foam, 'Tiarella hybrid', also known as Foamflower, is becoming one of the most popular shade perennials on the market today. Tiarella will do best in full shade and need average to moist soil. They can be planted as a ground cover or mingled with other shade loving plants. ‘Sea Foam’ has a plant height of 6-8” and a plant spread of 14”. ‘Sea Foam’ has deeply cut fuzzy green foliage.
