Sweet Bell Peppers - Big Early F1

This elongated bell pepper produces a 3 to 4 lobed-fruit up to 8 inches long by 4. 5 inches wide. Blossom pruning will improve fruit size. Transplant outside in the spring 3 to 4 weeks after last frost date. Big Early Bell peppers are an excellent choice for garden beds and large containers. The Sweet Bell Pepper Big Early F1, 'Capsicum annuum', is huge. They are Tobacco Mosaic resistant. Plant in average garden soil with sufficient organic matter. Peppers use quite a bit of water but prefer to be watered deeply and not too often. Note: To get a jump on the season transplant outside, use a walls-of-water or some black plastic to maintain and increase temperatures. Pinch off early flowers to encourage plant growth.
