Sweet Potato Vine - Margarita

The Sweet Potato Vine Margarita, 'Ipomoea batatas', a Proven Winners selection, has a trailing habit and traditional velvety, fan shaped leaves that are a bright chartreuse color. This ornamental plant provides color and interest like no other plant. They are grown for their distinctive foliage and vigorous growth habit. Margarita looks nice planted with darker foliaged plants. Ornamental Sweet Potato Vines can be used as an annual groundcover or in hanging baskets and pots. Daisy - Springstar Sirius The Daisy Springstar Sirius, 'Osteospermum ecklonis', was bred by Kientzler of Germany. The Springstar varieties are great for early cropping and all have a compact habit and are early flowering. Daisy's may be used as a cut flower and they are excellent in window boxes, pots, and rock gardens. The daisy is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds, plus they are resistant to deer. These daisys are winter hardy to USDA Zones 10-11 and they are grown as an annual in other cooler climatic zones. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage additional bloom.
