Tomato - Big Beef
Coupled with old-fashioned, rich flavor Big Beef features colossal fruit size and yield, uniformity and a full spectrum of disease resistance. It is excellent for slicing or in salads. to 1 pound. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. The fruits are globe-shaped and smooth, weighing 8 oz. This is close to the perfect tomato plant. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. It is a indeterminate variety to try in virtually any climate because they adapt easily to different environments. Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week.
