Tomato - Cherry - Gardeners Delight

Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. The Tomato Cherry Gardeners Delight, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum', is quite possibly the best tasting little tomato in the world. Gardeners Delight is an intermediate tomato which means they continue to grow indefinitely until frost. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. Prune the intermediate tomatoes in order to keep a single stem. Tomatoes are generally started inside. Gardeners Delight is very sweet and is great on salads or eaten in the garden. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. They may also be seeded outside after the last average frost date. Gardeners Delight has clusters of 6 to 12 tomatoes all summer. Several reviews proclaim this the best flavored cherry tomato. The Giant Sunset will begin to bloom in late spring and will continue to bloom until first frost. Pick faded flowers to encourage more blooms. Plant in the spring after the last average frost date.
