Tomato - Golden Girl

Soak to depth of 6 to 10 inches when watering. Tomatoes prefer well drained soil that is high in organic matter. Tomatoes should be planted outside after the last average frost date. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight a day. This is a determinate tomato plant. It is highly disease resistant against verticillium, fusarium, mentodes, alternaria, gray leaf spot and resists tobacco mosaic virus. Tomatoes need at least 1 inch of water a week. The Tomato Golden Girl, 'Lycopersicon lycopersicum' produces large yeilds of golden orange fruits that are sweet yet tangy, with a very good flavor. In warm winter/hot summer areas, tomatoes can be planted in early fall for winter harvest. The Golden Girl produces medium sized tomatoes that are slightly flattened in shape. ... more info

 

Petunia - Wave Rose Try them massed in beds and billowing from tubs and baskets. These plants are truly spectacular and a eye-catcher. Wave petunias are both heat and cool tolerant. The Petunia Wave Rose, 'Petunia x hybrida', creates gorgeous waves of color from summer to fall. These low growing annuals reach a height of 4 to 6 inches and can spread as much as 4 feet. The Wave Rose petunia does not need pinching or pruning. The 2 to 3 inches blooms continue all season with out being trimmed back. The spectacularly different, spreading habit makes this award winning petunia an excellent choice for landscapes and garden beds where brilliant groundcovers are desired.
