Turtlehead - Pink
The Chelone ‘Pink Turtlehead’, Chelone obliqua, is a deep carmine pink wildflower that resembles snapdragons and heads of turtles. The dark green foliage makes ‘Pink Turtlehead’ beautiful all year long. The flowers bloom from mind summer to early fall, with a plant height of 3’ and a spread of 18-24”. Chelone ‘Pink Turtlehead’ needs a full sun area, tolerating some shade in the afternoon. It is recommended for moist, well-drained area and must be kept watered at all times. This low maintenance perennial is highly pest resistant and will look great under a tree canopy or in a colorful perennial bed. Phlox - Pink Flame The Phlox Pink Flame, 'Phlox paniculata', is an ideal ground cover with masses of tiny lilac purple flowers with a white center and a thick mat of foliage. ‘Pink Flame’ is a new variety with variegated foliage and a pinkish tinge near the tips or the leaves. Blooming from April to May, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. It is a definite addition to any perennial garden.
