Veronica is great for the first time gardener plus it is deer resistant. With its dark glossy green foliage, it has a plant height of 12” and a spread of 12-18”. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders. This upright perennial produces wonderful violet-blue flowers from June till September. Try ‘Goodness Grows’ with Hemerocallis ‘Stella de Oro’ or Veronica ‘White Icicles’. ‘Goodness Grows’ is the longest blooming Veronica in its family.
