Veronica - White Icicle Speedwell

TheVeronica ‘White Icicle’, Veronica spicata. also known as Speedwell, is an easy to grow perennial that adds beauty to any garden. This Veronica produces wonderful white flowers that bloom from June till September. With its dark glossy green foliage, it has a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”. ‘White Icicle’ needs a full sun area with well-drained soil. Deadhead the flowers after the first bloom to prolong its bloom time. Veronica can be used as a ground cover, in mass plantings or along borders. Coreopsis - Zagreb The Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’, Coreopsis verticillata, is a prolific bloomer of bright yellow flowers that bloom from June through October. Winner of the 2001 RHS Award of Garden Merit, Coreopsis ‘Zagreb’ is a little shorter than the rest of the Coreopsis family. With a plant height of 15” and a spread of 12-18”, its delicate dark green foliage has an airy and delicate appearance. It is drought-tolerant and tough but does need well-drained soil. It should be cut backing early and late summer to extend the bloom period. Coreopsis Zagreb looks great with any type of grass, in borders or mass plantings in sunny gardens. It is very effective in naturalized areas, rock and cottage gardens or wild gardens. No garden should be without it.
