Spirea - Sparkling Carpet Sparkling Carpet Spirea, spiraea japonica 'Sparkling Carpet' (PP13,665), is a fine-textured, small spreading shrub with lime-gold leaves. It looks like a tiny version of ‘Gold Flame’ and produces few pink flowers in summer.
