Viburnum - Newport® Dwarf Doublefile
Viburnum are one of the most outstanding group of shrubs for use in the landscape planting because they are hardy and resistant to serious pests. It prefers full sun to partial shade and performs best in partial sun in evenly moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. It is a dwarf form of the Doublefile Viburnum. The small quilted foliage remains strong and turns a pleasing burgundy in fall. Newport® Dwarf Doublefile Viburnum, viburnum plicatum 'Newzam', is a rounded, dwarf compact shrub with large snowball-like clusters of white flowers. Sumac - Flameleaf Fruit matures in late summer remaining attached into winter and is eaten by many species of birds and white-tailed deer. Leaves have a winged axis and turn flame red to dark purple in the fall, hence the common name. It is widespread in open uplands along fence rows and in waste places.
